أول أيام عيد الأضحى

It’s nearly impossible to feel the joy of the EID when there is this number of beggars-mainly old ladies, sitting on the side-way waiting for anything from anyone. I literally saw an old man and a little girl fighting over 5 pounds! And I just couldn’t believe my eyes!!

The streets are overflowed with blood and beggars. Two things I can’t stand on my-supposed to be- happy day.

Not because I’m spoiled or anything, I’m sure I have pretty good reasons.

Regarding the blood thing, why on earth do I have to see that scene of blood and slaughtered sheep all over the street! The street that is supposed to be clean for us to walk, at least if even for today! Why do I have to see the heads of the sheep lined on the side-way! WHY ?!

And oh let’s not forget the smell that you basically breathe in with the air every time you pass by a garbage trunk!

And then when it comes to the beggars, all I’m gonna say is: الحمد لله على النعمة .Ehna fe3lan msh 7asen beha wala me2adernha!

I was nearly about to step out of the car and sit by an old lady and cry beside her! I know that this is not a solution but what the hell Am I gonna do?! Because giving them money was NEVER a solution. What they need is a more permanent solution/source.

حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل على كل واحد أكل مال الغلبان، على كل واحد سرق فلوس مش بتاعته ولا من حقه  و رضيها على نفسه حسبي الله و نعم الوكيل على كل ظالم

P.S” as you can see this was supposed to be posted yesterday but I came home late and in two minutes I was asleep in my bed xD “

I hope you didn’t forget the moral behind the Eid’s sacrifice.
The fact that people now don’t care if they clean up after they’re done, doesn’t mean the whole ritual has to go.
